Very much so! I may live 1000 miles away, but my heart is always in SD county! My body just cannot take the traffic and the heat

I went to a friend's wedding there - some 25 years ago!

Kit Carson park here in Escondido. I find a lot of birds in this one park with its small lake that's almost completely surrounded by cattails so they feel protected.

I think these are the first babies I"ve seen. IN California I had only seen the juveniles. This little park keeps bringing me surprises before work!

The babies are so cute! I spotted my first baby Coots today. Their bald heads are silly :)
