Central Plains Milksnake

Lampropeltis triangulum gentilis

Description:

A very abberant pattern on this milksnake. Almost no red at all.

Habitat:

Agriculture--wheat field

Notes:

Found under board near a pumphouse. Found by a friend but I was close enough to swing by and see it before it was released. A very cool snake!

Beautiful encounter! Consider adding this and your other snake in CO to Snakes of the Southwest Mission! http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/1249...
