Uff!! Thanks Agnes, this really helps a lot!! I was a fool not to look in Bold for this one. Nina, I think Gymnelia ethodaea is now safe :-)...
This BOLD Systems image of Gymnelia ethodaea clearly shows the white tips of the antennae - http://v2.boldsystems.org/views/taxbrows...
Hope this helps.
Always these antennae ;-)... I know what you mean... If you look at the left antenna in the Belize link there might be some white parts on the right side it is tricky to judge. But this is a pinned specimen, so it might be tricky to see it. In the link from mexico, I agree I can't see any white, however, to be honest, I can't see anything, to far away...
Hi bayucca, I fully believe this be to in the genus Gymnelia--my only concern with the id is the antennae. Mine have white tips for the final 1/4 of the antenna. What do you think?
Erebidae, Arctiinae, Ctenuchini, Gymnelia ethodaea.

Should be the same one like this:

I saw the same image on Barne's site a few years ago. Saw same issue with antennae, also 4 whitish spots on thorax two top two near bottom
I just noticed the antennae are different. Yours has a white portion while Gymnelia ethodaea has all black antennae.
Perhaps...http://www.mbarnes.force9.co.uk/belizemoths/images4/gymeth.htm
Too bad the pin in this link takes away a lot of the identifying features.
