Description:

The American robin is a very familiar bird seen hopping around lawns. Does most of its forging on the ground locating earthworms by sight. In fall and winter, robins may gather by the hundreds in roaming flocks, concentrating at sources of food. One might hear their beautiful songs early in the morning. The American Robin is a member of the Bluebird and Thrush family.

Habitat:

There was a flock of about 50 American robins in the marsh at an rv resort in Silver Springs, florida.
