Bald Eagle

Haliaeetus leucocephalus

Adult Bald Eagles have white heads and tails with dark brown bodies and wings. Their legs and bills are bright yellow.

I spotted this Bald Eagle while leaving Jekyll Island. This was the best spotting of the day as I was heading home. I came within a couple of feet to taking out a sign when pulling off the road to take a picture. It was well worth it.
