Uresiphita reversalis
looks like it was newly emerged. Found it in the sun ,resting on the side walk under the Acacia tree ,Prune tree and dandelions.
Identified as Genista Broom Moth.
That looks very similar, Emma.
Uresiphita sp??
I'm not sure, Emma. I was thinking something in the Crambid family.
J,could this be a Tortrix sp Moth?
There are a few similarities, yet it is not the same blood-red color. I've seen something similar to this, I just cannot recall.
thanks J. isn't there a great similarity between the two? I saw another one today under the sycamore tree.
Hi Emma! I don't think this is the Ruby Tiger Moth, as it is a bit larger: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/128...
