This is not my turtle, nor am I the one holding it. I just asked if I take a photo of it. This is Iowa so I'm pretty sure it was going to be supper later. If I had caught the turtle I wouldn't have even picked it up, so no worries about me.

Please keep in mind that holding a turtle by its tail like that can injury the spine. Here is a link with some helpful advice on how to hold a turtle without causing it injury. http://www.austinsturtlepage.com/Article...
