Andean White Butterfly

Tatochila theodice

I chased Andean White Butterflies during my whole hike and was finally able to get these photos. The butterfly looks like it was bitten on the wing--possibly by a bird.

Feeding on white yarrow (Achillea millefolium) along the hiking trail to Lago Torre, El Chalten, Argentina.
