It is possible that the forewings are not fully extended and are covering the third dark spot that is on the upper portion of the hind wings

It would be interesting to see if the dots become increased to three dots at maturity because my photo only has two dots.

Some moths sit with wings closed as do some butterflies. Clubbed antennae are a sure sign of a butterfly. Your is one of the tropical brush foot butterflies and Florida is one of the only places in the US you will find them

Possibly, I also thought that only butterflies stay stationary with their wings closed and moths had them opened.

I think is is a butterfly because the antennae appear to be clubbed on the ends
