Great Grey Shrike

Lanius excubitor

Description:

A shrike with a wedge-shaped white-bordered tail, back grey, wings black with white spot. Measuring from 22 to 26 cm.

Habitat:

Countryside, rural area, nearby cultivated fields.

Notes:

Spotted this one from the car as he was observing the area from a pole. Feathers looked fluffy, first I though it was maybe a juvenile, but they have slightly different colours.
