Prairie Falcon

Falco mexicanus

Description:

About the size of a crow. I only got to see two of them flying. So underneath they are a two-tone color. Facial slash similar to the Peregrine. Streaks on the flanks.

Habitat:

Open grasslands and hillsides

Notes:

I spotted two flying above a Ferruginous Hawk
