This is fairly large. It measures about 1.75" long. It was spotted on spiral ginger
Tropical dry forest in NW Costa Rica 10 weeks into the rainy season.
I'm so dumb Johan! I should have known from the long antennae!
This is a katydid, not a grasshopper. Not sure which species though.
