Convict Tangs

Acanthurus triostegus

Description:

A large school of so many fish I have shot in and around Hanauma Bay this year. Convict Tangs often swim in large schools to increase their odds of survival if attacked by marine predators.

Nice spottings, Drew! In the description you can always vary a bit the theme by telling us some specific qualities of the species that you are showing in the spotting. See our FAQs page for more ideas and welcome to Project Noah!
