A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Sceloporus olivaceus
This is one of our garden lizards that monitor the insect population around our Koi ponds. He is one of our smaller lizards, but faithfully patrols the pond areas and the rock garden.
The garden is about half an acre of native plants specifically planted for wildlife. The main water source is a pond that is filtered by two gravel streams. It is on a peninsula by Lake Lewisville.
