Description:

Fern like looking leaves. Long stem arching over to delicate heart shaped flowers. Colors may range from white to deep purple almost maroon. Flowers split open which turn up to expose stamen. This one has white on the tip of upturn.

Habitat:

Moist woodland areas.

Notes:

This one was spotted in a park near Seattle.
