Family: Notodontidae: An uncommon Prominent moth in an atypical position. TL 22-27 mm. Tawny brown FW with reddish/orange shading. Nearly parallel lines. One spot on each FW. Orange thorax. Slightly scalloped edges. Hosts: Birch, blueberry, basswood to name a few.
Near woodlands. Attracted near light, but not at the light.
