this particular buttery is endemic to Western Ghats.it is fairly big (6 cm) .it is chestnut brown to chocolate brown in colour . they are active during the early mornings( 6 am to 8 am)

Habitat:

Peninsular India [ Western Ghats]

Notes:

a very fast and agile butterfly.easy to catch and take pictures while basking.
