Toadflax Brocade Moth

Calophasia lunula

Description:

Family Noctuidae, Subfamily: Oncocnemidinae. An uncommon Sallow moth. Medium-sized TL 14-17 mm. Mottled grayish brown FW Intricate design with white dashes and heart shaped when wings are closed. Very hairy.

Habitat:

Unknown. But will only visit light in small numbers. This was found at front porch light.
