I photographed this female in flight while she was laying eggs in a small pond at the Huntley Meadows Park in Alexandria, Va. The second photograph shows her in the wheel formation less than a second later. The last photo was shot also less than a second later.

VERY BUSY girl! It's no wonder she needed to rest in Photo 3.
Especially like that first shot in flight.
