Florida Hieroglyphic Cicada

Neocicada hieroglyphica variation johannis

Description:

It appears to be empty inside.

Notes:

One of my campers found this by a pine tree. When they asked me what it was I guessed it as a cicada; however, I am unaware how correct (Or terribly wrong) I am.
