Small Orb weaver

Eriophora sp.

Description:

This very small orb weaver had a body length of about 4 mm. The abdomen and cephalothorax were orange with the abdomen showing a narrow pale leaf-shaped pattern along the midline. Legs and lateral part of the thorax were translucent with the sun light shining through. The spider was resting in the middle of a delicate web.

Habitat:

Spotted slung across a Mountain Hickory Wattle shrub ( Acacia obliquinervia) at the summit of Mt Donna Buang ( 1250 masl).

Notes:

I think the genus is right but I am unsure if this is a young spider or an adult of a small species of Eriophora.
Its probably a young garden orb weaver.
Family: Araneidae
