Cantharis pellucida
This large soldier beetle, 13 mm, has a red thorax and legs with black or dark grey elytra. The black 'mask' on its head gives it a rather goggle-eyed look. Other similar beetles in the same genus is Cantharis nigricans https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/17..., Cantharis livida https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/66..., Cantharis rustica https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/23... and Cantharis obscura https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/11.... The Norwegian name is given to these species due to the soft cover wings.
