Earth-Boring Dung Beetles (Nicaragua)

Habitat:

Dry tropical rain forest; pacific lowlands; rainy season

Notes:

Noted activity at horse fecal matter. Spotted these "dung" beetles making dung balls to roll away. From the images at coleopera-neotropical.org it appears to look like its from the Geotrupidae family.
