Coastal Beard-heath

Leucopogon parviflorus

Description:

Beautiful white bell shaped flowers with "furry" insides and a pinking tinge on the outside. Flower spikes were in clusters on woody stems. Leaves were about 25mm long. The shrub was about 8 ft tall growing amongst coastal wattle.

Habitat:

Coastal regions -endemic to Australia

Notes:

Flowers had a faint fragrance. Very attractive shrub. Said to grow taller in tea-tree scrub.
