Thoughtful Apamea Moth

Description:

This is a very common moth in Calgary. Forewing reddish-brown with a darker in subterminal area. The reniform spot pale yellow or whitish with dark line running through it.

This photograph was taken by Keith Sharkey at small mothing event staged in my backyard.
