Nephila clavipes
Female Spider approximately 3". Tan with white spots. Black legs with black tufts of hair on 1rst, 2nd, and 4th pair of legs.
Coastal Wetlands. Found in bushes in FL. The web was about 12 ft above ground.
Also known as Banana Spider because the abdomen of the spider is shaped like a banana.
