Hooktip Moth

Paralbara [cf] perhamata

Description:

Subdued colours that lend elegance to this medium-sized moth resting with its wings widespread. Does look a little like a fungus spotted dry leaf!

Habitat:

On one of the pillars of a monastery just outside the tourist town of Ravangla, Sikkim.

Notes:

October is not the best time for moth-ing and it was raining too, yet I did get to photograph some moths I had not seen before.
