Blue Spider wasp

Auplopus

Description:

This time I found out where she goes with her spider!! Iridescent blue spider wasp with her prey. She proceeded to seal this paralyzed spider in a mud cocoon where the hatched larvae would eat the still alive spider and come out fully grown! My earlier post here.. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/533...

Habitat:

Found on a cherry tree.
