Fuzzy caterpillar with stinging white hairs, and smaller orange hairs. The caterpillar has a black face.

Habitat:

On plants growing in a city park pond. The plants where growing in the water. Not sure what species of plant.

Notes:

Eats leaves before becoming a moth.
