Boy, I'm stumped on this one. This was easily 15 - 20" tall. I can't tell if it is an eagle, large hawk, or large falcon.
Tropical wet forest in SW Costa Rica in an open pasture area.
Thank you to both of you...hunter, can you confirm the roadside hawk?...also found on the Osa Peninsula.
