Description:

Smokey colored Day-flying moth (female) with pale faint stripes on the wings, metallic blue scales on the upper abdomen, a yellow diagonal band across the front wings, orange front femora and an orange stripe along the under midsection of the abdomen. About 1 cm in length. In the first and last pictures, the orange proboscis is extended.

Habitat:

Came to the parking lights of a shopping center, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
