Description:

A medium-sized, long-tailed bird. Sooty-gray above and white below, with a black chest band and black face. Very active when foraging insects. Constantly on move from a branch to the ground and up again.

Thanks, Arne. Yes, I had a look at your link and it says that the bird is endmeic throughout the Philippines and likes "moist lowland forests". So, I might have a chance to see one around here.

Great pictures of a beautiful bird, Arne. I don't think I have seen one of those Philippine Pied Fantails before. I don't know if it exists in our area. I'll need to have a look at your reference link. Thanks for sharing.
