Description:

A low creeping perennial. It produces solitary, terminal blue flowers with 4 blue petals surrounding a yellow spot.

Habitat:

Distributed in the Appalachian Mountains from Pennsylvania south to extreme northeast Georgia and western South Carolina. These were spotted in Shawnee State Park, Pennsylvania.
