Yes, they come in black too. According to Wikipedia its caterpillar "possesses a voracious appetite, attacking different kinds of plants: fruit bearing, ornamental and forest plants. Saturniidae, Hemileucinae, looks like being Hylesia sp. and my closest guess would be Hylesia cf. nigricans. But I am not 100% sure. Please, verify.
