Medium sized compact sea duck, with somewhat triangular large head on a short neck. Portrayed here is male, with dark-green glossy head, white cheeks and yellow eye; the rest of the body black and white.
Seen in urban environment, on lake Geneva (Leman), alone and close to shores, near a big city park (Botanical Gardens).
