Tachinid Fly

Description:

A small Tachinid fly of 5 mm in length. This one was very pretty with blue and black stripes on the thorax and abdomen. The wings were colored brown on the upper margins and along the venation. Family Tachinidae.

Habitat:

On rocks along the river, Chiflón Waterfall Park, Chiapas, Mexico.
