Fruit Piercing Noctuid Moth

Description:

Dark, small noctuid moth with yellow coloring on the underwings. Outer wings with an egg colored band down each side. Normal resting position is with the wings held somewhat tent-like.

Habitat:

Attracted to parking lights in a shopping center on the edge of the city.
