Hoary Servaea

Servaea incana (L. Keyserling, 1878)

Description:

Three warm days brought out this furry little salticid spider on the bark of a large suburban eucalyptus. It was very aware and highly active seemingly searching for prey.

Habitat:

Suburban park margin.

Servaea incana sure seems like it. They are tree bark dwellers. http://www.arachne.org.au/01_cms/details...

I lost view of it twice while fiddling with the camera. Had to wait for it to move both times before I could find it again. I quite like these little furry ones. So many species.
