Small brown mushrooms caps up to 40mm wide with radial striation and umbo with age; stipes almost white, thin, clean; gills slighlty dense, pale cream colour with signs of dark stain from spore?

Habitat:

Suburban playground woodchip mulch.

Notes:

Thanks for that Caleb. Psathyrella looks good for genus. Some problems to overcome with Aus. species... I'd like to think Spring Brittlestem but can't prove it's in Eastern Australia yet.

Sorry they are not Psilocybe cubensis, even the substrate is wrong, those would be growing on dung, they are Psathyrella sp.
Microscopy needs to be done to show the species.

Hi Andres. Thanks very much for the suggestion. Psilocybe cubensis look very similar on top but not the stem. They have a frill or collar and pieces of cortina.
