The individual in the first 4 pictures is a dark phase specimen. The last one may be the same bird or may the the one from the tree. I was too busy taking photographs or trying to get closer to the perched one to see if there were 1 or 2 pale-phase specimens.

Here at Project Noah we use the Scientific name for identification and allow our users to put in the Common name which they know it by and in their own language if they wish.
When Common names are changed on official lists the older generations will generally continue to use the names they have always used while the younger generations will generally change to the new name, this being natural evolution.
Some of us would like to see another field for alternate Common Names and also for Names in other languages than English and have asked for this to be implemented. Until that happens we can just add it in to the Description, Notes or Comments section.
