Description:

Showing the phases from flower to berry.

Habitat:

A common shrub of the Coastal forest, it is found in bottomlands or around the edges of marshes and creeks.

Notes:

Flowers might be seen by April 1st and as late as June 1st with berries almost ripe on the same bush. The soft fruit is shaped like a logan or boisonberry and may very in color from yellow to red.
