Orthemis ferruginea
Thorax brown, with pale dorsal stripe and mosaic of whitish streaking on sides; abdomen mostly rusty brown. I was working in the yard when this dragonfly zoomed in and perched on my persimmon tree. It obligingly waited for me to run in and grab my camera, then sat there while I took pictures.
