Fairly small orange-brown and black bug.

Habitat:

Savanna/woodland

Notes:

Possibly Dysdercus nigrofasciatus. Observed at Siphiso Campsite, Mlawula Nature Reserve.

Thanks for that ... yes, this one clearly doesn't have the black band/stripe - I'll put this as Dysdercus sp. for the meantime.

Sorry, I disagree...
Nigrofasciatus must have, as the name indicates, a black patch behind the head and a black band/stripe at the end of the pronotum, which yours has not. Assuming the ID is orrect, yours would be Dysdercus fasciatus. But maybe has to ask an expert for that, because there are many wrong or non-trustable IDs around.
