Weevil

Description:

Small weevil, 4 mm long, with a long snout and well camouflaged for living on bark. Family Curculionidae.

Habitat:

Garden lights, semi-rural residential area, San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico, 2,200 meters.

Notes:

This little weevil was extremely active and doesn't play dead like most weevils. It also flies readily, something else weevils rarely do.
