Spotting

Description:

Hygrocybe sp. Could be an almost yellow variety of Hygrocybe conica (blackening waxcap). Hygrocybe chlorophana (golden waxcap) ' but that usually has a clean yellow'. Probably not Hygrocybe ceracea since gills aren't decurrent. Maybe 'Hygrocybe psittacina [Parrot Waxcap] although there isn't any really obvious green, but the yellow is a bit murky, with the base of the stem has a possible hint of green and also the gills look slightly pinkish. It might just be the light it was taken in though.'

Yep - not as yellow as some. Open field or under trees?
