Python reticulatus
One rainy afternoon my father noticed our dogs seem agitated and barking on something under a pile of dried leaves so he told me to hurry and get my cam. We found out it was a baby python. It is about 1 meter long and 1.25 inches diameter at the mid part of its body and its a male. It has bruises and too weak even to defend himself so I picked him and place him on a tree so he can climb up to safety.
These snakes in our region are often found living on mountainous areas near creeks and water ways and on the lowland near rice fields where there are an abundance of rodents.
