looks a pretty good match for warriorsoul's ID

This one's from a couple of years ago (I've just noticed the date was wrong and changed it) and I can't remember where it was exactly. There are definitely a few patches of shrooms I'd rather not blatently reveal though :D. I found a similar looking one the other day and warriorsoul on mycotopia.net thought it might be Paneaolus papileonaceus: https://mycotopia.net/forums/wild-mushro...

Hi Rat. Just wondering why you always put the location 'within a few miles'. Are you protecting some secret patch of shrooms? :-) Do you know you can zoom and drag the pin on the map to within a few yards of accuracy? This is a dark and mysterious looking specimen. and the cap looks fibrous textured in pic 3
