Poecile atricapillus
The Black-capped Chickadee has a black cap and bib with white sides to the face. Its underparts are white with rusty brown on the flanks. Its back is gray and the tail is normally slate-gray. The male and female both look alike, but the male is generally bigger then the female.
Found in old growth forest. Some of the trees in the area include; Wild Cherry, Crab Apple, Ash, Elm, Basswood, Maple, Poplar, Spruce, Aak and Shagbark Hickory.

Thanks all, for the wonderful comments, although these are not the most colorful birds, they are one of my favorite birds, because of their personality. When I am out in the woods and just sitting still it is not unusual for one to land near or even on me. Last week I was blessed to have several land in my hand and take seed from it. I was in an area, I had not been to in 3 or 4 years, yet these cute little birds took no thought about landing on, and eating from my hand.
You must have a really nice camera, good job! also you should see some of my bird spottings as well :)
