Description:

caps: 3-8 cm diameter, 2 cm high. smooth dry white surface with smooth entire margin with thin brown edge. cap flesh is white, firm and pliant. Gills are slightly off-white, crowded, and free from stipe. spore print is white. Stem is 1 cm wide and 8 cm tall with silky ring remains at 3/4 height. colour is white. tenture abov ring is white, texture below ring is silky. stem is hollow and white. stem expands to 2 cm bulb at base.

also known as Leucoagaricus naucinus this is rarely given a common name but National Audubon Socieyt lists it as "Smooth Lepiota"
