Scarce Swallowtail

Description:

This swallowtail is a large distinctive butterfly, with some 70 millimetres wingspan. Color of wings is mainly pale yellow; with tiger stripes on front wings; and blue crescent markings on hind ones, combined with a long tail.

Habitat:

Widespread and very common, observed in gardens in coastal villages of Pelješac.
